Deep Dive

Block You Test Me question types explained

Everyday habits.

These are the small routines your friends only notice if they spend real time with you. What you do in the first ten minutes of the day, how you take notes, what sits on your nightstand. The answers feel trivial and they are exactly what separates a close friend from an acquaintance.

Food and drink.

Orders, spice levels, and midnight snacks. This is the easiest category to score well in, since most friends have eaten together at least a few times.

Entertainment and digital life.

Playlists, open tabs, and how fast you reply. Great for long-distance friends who mostly know each other through a phone screen.

Travel.

Packing chaos, window seats, and who plans every hour of a trip. Best used with people you have travelled with at least once.

Personality and reactions.

What you do when plans fall apart, when someone cries, when you are running late. These questions are harder, and they are the ones that reveal the most.

Best friend questions.

Shared memories, your regular spot, who apologises first. Keep these for people you have known for a while.

Funny imagination.

Superpowers, movie roles, zombie plans. Pure fun, and the category that gets the most arguments in a group chat.

Style and small preferences.

Colours, shoes, room state. Quick to answer and surprisingly easy to get wrong.

The Math

How your Block You Test Me score works

You answer first. Those answers become the key. Each friend then sees the same questions without your answers and picks what they think you chose. A correct guess is worth one point, and the score is simply your percentage of correct guesses, rounded to the nearest whole number. Ten questions means each correct answer is worth ten points. Fifteen questions means about six or seven. Nothing else is weighted, and there is no time bonus. Your private link shows every friend’s score and which answers they picked.

Pro Tips

Tips for a quiz your friends actually finish

Keep it to ten questions unless your group is competitive. Mix easy categories with one hard one, so nobody scores zero and nobody scores perfect. Include at least two questions where the answer is genuinely funny if someone gets it wrong. Write your own version of any question that does not fit your friend group. Send the link in the group chat rather than directly, since people are far more likely to play when everyone else is playing too.

Spread the Word

Where to share your Block You Test Me link

Group chats are the main one. Beyond that, it works well as a story post, a Discord channel, or a group story where everyone posts their score. Each quiz has one public link and one private results link. Send the public one anywhere. Anyone with the private link can see results, so keep that one to yourself.

Every quiz runs in the browser on any phone, tablet, or laptop. There is nothing to install and no account to create, so a friend can go from the message you sent to a finished score in under three minutes. Nothing changes between devices, which is why the whole quiz fits on one page with a single button.

It’s a quiz, not a real block detector

Nobody’s account is being read here. Block You Test Me doesn’t connect to your social accounts, your phone contacts, or your messages — and there’s no way for a quiz to tell you who actually blocked you.

What this is: a fun set of questions about you, answered by your friends, scored against the answers you wrote. What it isn’t: a way to check anyone’s block list.
